This is for the /rin/ project funds. It's simpler for us all to donate and have it placed in a savings account with high interest. I will bring this card to conventions we attend and such.

1) I have a giant zit the size of a quarter (not so bad)
2) I've been having a runny nose all week (still not so bad)
3) my lymph nodes are swollen and rock solid, my throat is incredibly sore and it hurts to swallow (right side only)
4) I was told 4 times today that I looked awful
5) I've been nauseous on and off for 3 days
6) (final straw) I cried cause I couldn't drink water without my throat hurting (right side only)

Problem: It's labor day weekend. This is not an emergency, so I can't go to the Emergency Room. I don't know what to do except drink orange juice, have some broth, and sleep my life away.

*sob*

My mom was supposed to bring my car up. My grandma was there as an extra driver, even. But they all crammed into one car, and now mine is still elsewhere.
Biggest problem? Well, how the fuck am I getting to otakon now? So I contacted Carla and had to cancel everthing. FML. I finally get to go to a fucking convention and something goes wrong. I don't have enough money for transport. (what about gas money? Well... I didn't have that figured out.) I was gonna just go and not buy anything down there. Live off snack bars or something.
My ticket is non-refundable. I wonder if I could transfer it to someone else. Get my money back. Idk. T_T
I hate the world right now. I am an aggravated con virgin who just had to cancel her equivalent of a craigslist cherry popper date.

KAI, CAN WE HAS THERAPY WEEKEND ON 17-19TH? I AM ALREADY OFF WORK. WE CAN DOWNTOWN. T_T

I actually hijacked this icon without permission, but it belongs to probertson , who does a bunch of fun pixel people including the neverending zombie.gif :3 I like the contrast of cute and sweet with death and bullets. I haven't asked but I know it's the policy of a lot of contemporary artists in any medium to accept free pimping when they're able. Plus I've seen the baby-eater icon being used continuously without permission, so this little gal shouldn't be a big deal either.

This was made by t3h_janitor_jim and came out of a pamphlet for an airsoft gun, I believe. It's just ironic, and it's a fun way to say "shutup" or "do you want a shovel for that hole you're digging?". Nobody ever gets it though.

I have a room in Linthicum where we can park and take the Light rail directly to the con! It's only about 15 min away max.

We are in a room with 2 double beds and we already have 2 girls. But we can use 2 more for the other bed or 4 more if you don't mind sharing the floor with a friend :)

Crazy drunken party girls/girls who don't like to sleep/girls who will ruin our good time need not apply.

If we get 2 more girls, it will be $77 per person and if we get 4 more girls, it will be $51 per person.

The room is reserved for Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

I got an interview at some italian place, which is cool, but it's in Oakland... and I'm in Crafton, so it means the commute hits the icky traffic on the highway. :/
also, I will be back at 5pm! I am turning the computer off so I can sew. :3

My aim will still say available, but I need to not get distracted. I am still available for commissions and should have everything done by the 10th of next month or sooner. :3

Rika Lolita by ~takemeinyourarms on deviant ART

Rika is from a series called Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. This series is noted for violence and creepiness, and added shock value because of the cute and innocent way the characters are drawn.
This Rika is inspired by the Watanagashi festival (cotton drifting festival) where persons imbue cotton fluffs from old mattresses and such with the negative energy and bad things that have happened over the years and allow them tro drift away in the river.
It's hard to make Miko look lolita. T_T I could have gone the normal route and depicted her this way but I felt like I could pay more attention to her traditional values (being raised in a shrine, etc, not to mention other things critical to the plot that I won't mention)

Granted... not my choice of music, but given the way they chose to work the video, it fits very well. :D

getting my domain set up. It's a problem cause we had to cancel BOTH plans. This means, I was completely dependent on hubby to back up all my blog info and pics because I had no idea this was going on. :/ Lets hope. So the original hosting package that was supposed to expire in Sept.? I guess the site is still up, except he removed all the data. Im so confused. Pics are down for a while then. :/

Would anyone like a commission? I promise to negotiate price with you and work to get the best deal. I would really love to keep this to my friendslist, but if you know someone who needs one that would be awesome too. Dress form arrives in 5 days and will fit measurements up to: 100cm bust, 80cm waist, 102cm hips. Then I shall save up for a larger one.

Debt and Scrambling

It turns out that the birth control purchase put us in debt. by $68.00. It sucks to not have insurance even for a month. (And as it’s been prescribed to me for non preventative reasons, all the more important that I have it.) So that means I’m in high gear to make some extra monies.
